And I’m back with another London post! I was recently down in the big smoke for my friend’s birthday so we went for a lovely Sunday brunch at Percy & Founders in Fitzrovia. I say brunch, but some may say that a chicken avo sandwich and chips isn’t very brunch like and maybe they’d be right- but let me live, this is my favourite kinda meal so I’m happy with it at any time of the day.
The thing I love most about a restaurant is when you tell the waiter/waitress about your allergy and they don’t make it a huge issue- they just allow you to pick the dish you’d like and go talk to the chef to make sure it’s safe for you. The staff at Percy & Founders were so accommodating and took care of making sure it was all okay for me to eat- without a fuss!
If you’ve read my blog before, you’ll know I’m very partial to a juice or smoothie, so I also tried to transport myself to a warmer climate with a ‘winter sun’ with banana, mango, pineapple and coconut water. This was super tasty, so if you’re bored of the drizzle, I’d recommend this one!
I know that with so much choice in London, it’s hard to know where to go, but if you’re looking for a good brunch spot, this is definitely somewhere you should try! I’d recommend the avocado chicken sandwich, but let me know what you order!
